500 g sipulia
2 valkosipulia
1 rkl voita
1 tl hunajaa
3 rkl vehnäjauhoja
1 l vettä
1 dl valkoviiniä
1 kasvisliemikuutio
2 rkl timjamia
suolaa, mustapippuria
4 viipaletta vaaleaa leipää
2 dl juustoraastetta
Ihastuttava ranskalainen sipulikeitto on klassikko, joka on pakko kokea!
1. Esilämmitä uuni 225 °C asteeseen.
2. Kuori ja hienonna sipulit sekä valkosipulinkynnet. Kuumenna rasva kattilassa ja kuullota sipulit ja valkosipulit pehmeiksi. Mausta hunajalla ja suolalla.
3. Lisää vehnäjauhot kattilaan ja sekoita joukkoon vesi sekä valkoviini. Liota joukkoon liemikuutio ja anna hautua 20 minuuttia. Mausta suolalla, pippurilla ja timjamilla. Tarkista maku.
4. Jaa ranskalainen sipulikeitto neljään uuninkestävään annoskulhoon.
5. Paahda leivät ja asettele ne keiton pinnalle. Lisää juustoraaste leipien päälle ja kuorruta 225 °C asteisessa uunissa noin 15 minuuttia, kunnes pinta on kauniin ruskea.
