450 g broilerin paistisuikaleita
2 sipulia ja valkosipulinkynttä
öljyä ja voita paistamiseen
1 rkl keltaista currytahnaa
1 tl misotahnaa
240 g aprikooseja sokeriliemessä
2 dl kanalientä
2 dl kuohukermaa
ripaus suolaa ja pippuria
1. Ota broilerit huoneenlämpöön hyvissä ajoin ennen valmistusta. Kuori ja hienonna sipulit.
2. Kuumenna pannu ja lisää voi-öljyseos. Ruskista broilerisuikaleita sipulien kanssa kuumalla pannulla, kunnes sipulit pehmenevät ja broilerien pinnat saavat kauniin ruskean värin. Sekoittele tasaisesti, jotta sipulit eivät pala. Tarvittaessa laske lieden lämpöä.
3. Lisää pannulle currytahna ja misotahna. Paahda seosta muutama minuutti, jotta mausteet avautuvat.
4. Laske lieden lämpö ja lisää pannulle noin 2 rkl aprikoosien sokerilientä.
5. Siivilöi aprikoosit ylimääräisestä liemestä, halkaise ne pienemmiksi paloiksi ja aseta odottamaan.
6. Mittaa pannulle kanaliemi ja kerma. Hauduta kastiketta kannen alla vähintään 10 minuuttia, kunnes broileri on kypsä ja kastike kiehuu tasaisesti.
7. Lisää pannulle aprikoosit ja kuumenna kastiketta hetki ilman kantta. Mausta suolalla ja pippurilla maun mukaan.
8. Tarjoile herkullinen aprikoosikana currykastikkeessa keitetyn riisin ja aasialaisen salaatin kera.
