2 valkosipulinkynttä
800 g lampaan jauhelihaa
½ dl maissitärkkelystä
½ dl tuoretta korianteria hienonnettuna
1 rkl garam masala –mausteseosta
1 rkl voita
mustapippuria
suolaa
KASTIKE
2 kypsää tomaattia
1 prk tomaattimurskaa
1 rkl voita
3 laakerinlehteä
1 kanelitanko
1 tl kurkumaa
½ tl juustokuminaa
½ tuoretta chiliä
2 tl juoksevaa hunajaa
1 prk kookoskermaa
2 dl ruokakermaa
suolaa
tuoretta korianteria
Kofta korma, eli intialaisittain maustetut lampaanjauhelihasta valmistetut lihapullat, saavat potkua tuoreesta chilistä!
1. Kuori ja hienonna sipulit. Kuullota ne pannulla voissa, kunnes ne pehmenevät ja saavat kultaisen värisen sävyn. Anna jäähtyä.
2. Sekoita keskenään kulhossa lampaanjauheliha, kuullotetut sipulit ja muut lihapulla-ainekset. Vaivaa taikinaa hyvin, jotta mausteet jakautuvat tasaisesti.
3. Muotoile taikinasta käsin pieniä pyöryköitä. Jos taikina tuntuu liian tahmealta, kostuta käsiä välillä vedellä, jotta se ei tartu käsiin.
4. Kuumenna pannulla voita ja ruskista lihapullat muutamassa erässä. Laske lämpöä ja hauduta lihapullat kypsiksi. Siirrä valmiit lihapullat sivuun.
5. Pilko tomaatit pieniksi kuutioiksi ja poista kovat kannat. Hienonna myös tuore chili.
6. Kuullota tomaatteja, chiliä ja mausteita pannulla voissa muutaman minuutin ajan. Lisää tomaattimurska ja kerma, ja anna kastikkeen kiehua hiljalleen noin 15 minuuttia. Mausta suolalla ja pippurilla. Poista kanelitanko ennen seuraavaa vaihetta.
7. Lisää valmiit lihapullat kastikkeen joukkoon ja kuumenna ne lämpimiksi.
Ripottele päälle hienonnettua tuoretta korianteria. Tarjoa keitetyn riisin kera.
