1. Leikkaa patonki vinoviipaleiksi.
2. Paahda viipaleet leivänpaahtimessa tai uunissa (grillivastuksen alla), kunnes ne saavat kauniin värin. Käännä leivät ja paahda toinenkin puoli.
3. Pirskota leiville oliiviöljyä ja levitä sitten sitruunapestoa. Viipaloi mozzarella ja miniluumutomaatit. Peitä leivät juusto- ja tomaattiviipaleilla.
4. Koristele rucolalla tai basilikalla. Rouhi päälle pippuria ja viimeistele lorauksella balsamicoa.
